PROCESS
OF BUYING

CONSULTATION:

The first step in creating a custom area rug is to have a consultation with the customer. During this consultation, the customer will discuss their vision for the rug, including its size, shape, color, and design. The rug maker will also take measurements of the space where the rug will be placed..

DESIGN SELECTION:

Once the consultation is complete, the rug maker will create a design for the rug based on the customer's specifications. This may involve creating sketches or digital renderings of the design to give the customer an idea of what the finished product will look like.

MATERIAL SELECTION:

With the design in place, it's time to select materials for the rug. This may involve choosing from a variety of fibers, such as wool or silk, as well as selecting colors and patterns that will bring the design to life.

WEAVING:

Once all of the materials have been selected, it's time to start weaving the rug. This is typically done by hand using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations of artisans. The weaver will carefully follow the design created earlier in order to ensure that every detail is just right.

FINISHING:

Once weaving is complete, it's time to finish the rug. This may involve trimming any excess fibers or adding fringe to the edges of the rug. The rug may also be washed and blocked in order to ensure that it lays flat and looks its best.

DELIVERY:

Delivery: Finally, once all finishing touches have been made, it's time to deliver the finished rug to the customer. The rug maker will carefully package and ship the rug so that it arrives at its destination in perfect condition.
